Everything you need to know about booking, pricing, the design process, and what to expect at your session.
Reach out by phone (519-870-8878), email (info@natetattoos.com), or DM on Instagram (@nate_tattoos). Tell me what you’re thinking — the subject, size, placement, and style — and we’ll set up a time to talk through the details.
My rate is $200 per hour with a $150 minimum. A $100 non-refundable deposit is required to book your session, which goes toward the total cost. I’ll give you a time estimate during your consultation so you know what to expect before you commit.
Walk-ins are always welcome if time permits. I’m at the shop Thursday through Saturday, 11 AM to 5 PM. That said, booking in advance is the best way to guarantee your spot.
Every tattoo I do is custom. I create original designs for each client based on our consultation. If you have reference images, mood boards, or rough sketches, bring them — I’ll use those as a starting point and create something unique that works for your body and placement. I won’t tattoo a design that hasn’t gone through my hands.
No. I don’t copy other artists’ work. But I’m happy to use reference images as inspiration and create something original in that style or with those elements.
Absolutely. I’ll work from your artwork, but I will adapt it to make sure it works as a tattoo — proper sizing, flow with the body, and technical adjustments so it heals and ages well. The final design is always a collaboration.
Japanese, Traditional, and Black & Grey. I’ve been tattooing for 25 years and these are the styles I’m most passionate about. Check out my portfolio →
Yes, but it’s manageable. Most people describe it as a persistent scratching or burning sensation. Fleshy areas like the outer arm and thigh tend to be easier, while bony spots like ribs, elbows, and hands are more intense. Your body adjusts after the first 10–15 minutes, and breaks are always available.
It depends on the size and complexity of the piece. A small design might take an hour, while a detailed sleeve session can run 3–5 hours. I’ll give you a time estimate during your consultation.
Get a good night’s sleep, eat a proper meal, stay hydrated, and skip alcohol the night before. Moisturize the area in the days leading up to your session — hydrated skin takes pigment better.
I use two methods depending on the tattoo — second skin (a transparent adhesive film left on for 4–5 days) or a traditional bandage (left on overnight). Both methods have detailed instructions I’ll walk you through in person. Read the full aftercare guide →
Most tattoos are fully healed in 2–4 weeks. The first week involves some redness, tightness, and peeling — all normal. The most important thing you can do long-term is wear sunscreen on your tattoo whenever you’re in the sun.
One friend is fine for moral support. Please don’t bring a group — space is limited and I need to focus on your tattoo.
Village Tattoo Company, 898 Dundas St., London, Ontario. I’m here Thursday through Saturday, 11 AM to 5 PM.
Yes. A $100 non-refundable deposit is required to book your session. This reserves your time slot and goes toward the cost of your tattoo. The deposit covers the design time that starts before you sit in the chair.
Life happens — just give me as much notice as possible. Last-minute cancellations without a good reason may forfeit your deposit.
